Head of Vanguard’s Digital Advisor, Vanguard
Mindi Marisa is the Head of Vanguard’s Digital Advisor, a new advice offer whose mission is “To make investing accessible to everyone, simplify their financial lives, and reach their financial goals.” This new all digital advice product resides within the Retail Division at Vanguard under the Personal Advisor Services business.
Prior to this role Mindi was a Senior Manager for Vanguard’s Enterprise Advice division, leading the effort in partnership with Vanguard’s Financial Advisory Services business (FAS) to deliver Vanguard’s advice methodology and technology to our external financial advisor partners.
Mrs. Marisa joined Vanguard in 2015 as the Head of Investment Product Management. She led a team responsible for overseeing the health of our existing range of mutual funds and ETFs, by monitoring their positioning and performance in the markets, communicating product insights to internal and external audiences, and driving product improvements.
Before joining Vanguard, Mrs. Marisa led Product Management for the global prime brokerage financing business at Barclays Capital. Mrs. Marisa began her career in fixed income sales at Lehman Brothers.
Mindi received a B.S. in Mathematics from Penn State University and an M.B.A. from New York University Stern School of Business.
Dr. Quian Wang
Chief Economist, Asia-Pacific of Vanguard Investment Strategy Group, Vanguard
Dr. Qian Wang is chief economist, Asia-Pacific of Vanguard Investment Strategy Group. Prior to this, Dr. Wang served as the director of research at a sovereign wealth fund based in Asia, and the chief China economist and head of greater China macro research in JP Morgan.
In her earlier career, Dr. Wang was an assistant professor in the business school of Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), and conducted empirical research in the fields of Asia and Chinese economies, international capital markets, and corporate finance. Her research has been published in top-tier academic journals.
Dr. Wang earned a Ph.D. in business administration from Stanford University, an M.A. in economics from Duke University, and a B.A. in international economics from Beijing University.
